The wall of the hillfort

The summit.

This is a very rocky hill, and one of the finest in Wales. Directly above the sea and an old oak forest, a summit of tors and pinnacles, this is a very special hill.

The summit tower can be climbed by an overhanging scramble on big jugs, or more easily from the other side.

The birdsong rising from the forest enlivened the descent on a fine evening.
