Rolling grassland on Aberedw Hill.

The southern side of the hill is a series of V shaped valleys. Ash and hawthorn woods survive here. This is Cwmblaenerw.

 The north Summit.
There are two 451m spot heights,

The southern summit.
The summits from the north. Across Cwm Milo

There are a lot of pools on these hills. Very good spots for waders and ducks.
Drygarn Fawr, Llanelwedd and the Wye Valley from the summit.
Wylfre, the eastern summit, again with a trigpoint. The vegetation is very soft here.

A huge flat topped hill above Builth Wells. This has to be the easiest going underfoot on any hill. Miles of undulating moss and grass, grazed by ponies. Sadly the lower slopes are infested with bracken. Fine views on this cold clear day.

The Radnor Forest is so much more than the two 2000' tops. The whole range has some of the best easy hillwalking anywhere, and is unbelievably scenic. Yet hardly anyone bothers. Best of all, because of the huge commons there are vast areas of moorland and unenclosed grassland. Almost no fences and dry underfoot.
