Known to the OS as Ben Vuirich, this is a very retiring hill hiding in the Atholl moorland. Probably gets few ascents but is extremely gentle.

The deep snow probably helped as I encountered little heavy going, on the guidebook discouraged southern approach. Even some soft snow, and a whiteout was not enough to hinder fast progress.

I chose to walk, regretted it as there was far more snow, low down than expected, but was glad not to have to carry the skis in. The white out would have prevented me from skiing down the best bit of the hill, so walking turned out to be the best tactic after all.
