A take on that view, calendar photographers don't tackle the fearsomly steep slopes of Beinn Maol Challuim(below, photo dated May2001).
Beinn Maol Challuim

 The summit ridge.

The South East Ridge and view of Loch Etive.

There are some relatively unsung hills south of Glencoe. They are good too. This is Beinn Fhionlaidh (959m).

 And Sgurr na h-Ulaidh (994m)

Isolated pinnacle on Creag na Caileach, just above the Glen Etive Road.

An those Buachailles again. Dalness and Glen Etive. Anyone good at quadratic equations?

Sometimes tagged on with Bidean nam Bian, but only with extreme care, this is a very steep hill indeed. You can get a good view when travelling up Glen Coe, through the lower glen, but everyone looks at Aonach Dubh. Thats the beauty of the Appin Hills, everyone is so worked up about the Coe giants that other fine places slip by unnoticed.

Another approach is from Glen Etive. Well its not as steep as Stob Dubh (what is?) but its a fair pech all the same. Worth noting, if like me you are based at Inbhirfhaolain, that there is a path through the forest from 157208. Follow the obvious ride, and then find the path cut through the trees.

The ridge contrasts, a fine level parade in good company, only it snowed when I was up there, and all I saw was my crampons, constantly falling off. This was very much a one crampon ascent.
