Often done with Creag Mhor. This trip involved a visit to
the two outlying tops above the Lairg nan Lunn, Meall a Chall
and Creag nam Bodach. The Larig gives an easy start to a day,
especially as in the rare cases of the gate being locked, its
position on the pass means you can still drive up. The price
comes later, eastern approaches are very rough and boggy. No
path yet, the bagging hordes must do Creag Mhor too.
This is a gentle approach, and there is little sign of the
summit until you reach it. Good views once up there towards the
Northwest and Glencoe, Loch Lyon and its bulldozed roads.
The north east ridge was pleasant with a top and a long stretch
out to Meall a'Chall with its view down Glen Lyon.
