Sgiath Chuil 921m Glen Lochay/Glen Dochart, Section 2b
OS 1:50 000 Sheet 51 : NN462317

15 February 2004
Baggers Album ->Scotland->2b->Chuil

Sgiath Chuil from the east.

 Sgiath Chuil, summit. Very worn compared with other tops in the range!

 The eastern top, unnamed 883m.

  Meall na Samhna from the east.

 Beinn Bhreac from Meall na Samhna.

Instead of the pairing with Meall Glas, Sgiath Chuil can also give a fine circuit to the east, with an easy approach from Auchlyne. The tops to the east are rather complex and there are numerous knobbles to perplex the top cataloguer.Yes, I missed one so I may well return.

Funny weather, it would suddenly turn cold, clag up and then return to clear. And hardly any snow in this latest in a line of crap winters. The ski resorts seem to be packing up now.

The two 900m tops were quite busy, but the rest of the round was quiet on trackless hills.
