Law Kneis, summit.

 Map: Law Kneis

Although completely covered in trees, the west side of this hill provides the easiest ascent. A new bridge and network of waymarked trails at 280130 allows the Tima Water to be crossed is safety and should lessen the probability of a violent encounter.

From the red trail, a rough steep ascent of the obvious burn and clearing will gain a high level road. (Staying on the red trail, you will gain the road later, but dangerously near Deephope, and add a fair bit to your journey )Once on the road above the burn it is best to walk south along the road until just after passing a gate(marks the FC boundary.) Soon a steep ride heads up leftward, along an old fence line. This leads very roughly to the summit. The hill should be renamed "Law Kneis of Steel"

Law Kneis was my 1000th hill, including the 35 Irish ones so far. Still a bit to go until the party!
