Another foul day. Greatmoor is a sodden hulk of peatbog south of Hawick. I dont know much more, visibility was non existant. The north side is forested, the southern slopes farmed from Sundhope. Drowned sheep would loom out of the mist and the melting snow made progress very slow. Navigation was interesting. Greatmoor is often combined with Caldcleuch Head. |
