A 9 am visit before the snow came. First time up for 10 years. Very fine views today in the northerly airstream.

Big changes in the view since I last lived in Edinburgh: No more Granton Gasworks! A lot going up still in Leith, and look whats happened to Easter Road. Also Edinburgh's finest football team have upsticks to Pumpherston or somewhere. I caught a glimpse of a fondly remembered floodlight pylon round Whinny Hill.

Sadly the method of my first ascent, running up from Morningside was not repeated, I strolled up from Dunsapie Loch.

Up in my lunch break in Oct 2004. Prayer flags on the trig.

Desparados Mountaineering Club's Christmas meet was here in 2004 and I got an invite. Beautifully clear day with an unbelievable view.
