The summit and Clydesdale. Coulter Fells on the right.

The remains of the trig point. I suspect bovine vandals.

A quickie on the way home from the Dumyat party.

An easy ascent, but oh dear! What hideous fate has befallen the trig point. My theory is that as it is a cow pasture , the bull had a fright during a scratching session. The view of the interior of the the pillar with the "sacred stud" exposed was fascinating. other than being on its side the pillar was intact.

Fine views towards Biggar, past the flanks of huge Tinto.
