The access track to the power station.

 The summit from the track.

Known for the windfarm , and little else this is a highly industrialised hill in Lanarkshire. The windfarm should protect the summit from the spruce trees and open cast coal mines. Recently a fresh hole has appeared towards Nutberry Hill, and any approach other than by the power station access route could get complicated. The vast complex towards Coalburn on the northern slopes seems to be exhausted.

The ascent from Douglas West via the road is quick and easy, and appears a popular outing. Its worth noting that this is an early development and that the turbines are rather small by today's standards.
