Mount Hill.

The summit.

The Hopetoun Monument on the summit.

An easy journey breaking walk on the way north. I had hoped to have a longer day elsewhere, but had a delay with car trouble on the journey.

The hill is wooded, and easily found because of the bloody great chimney on top. Unlike Kit Hill, this one is ornamental. The woods are very brambly and full of pheasants, but there is a very pleasant waymarked path up from below Mount Farm. There is not a lot of parking however.

Now that the summit has been cleared, everyone gets a view not just keyholders to the tower. I get the impression that a year ago, the summit was a very different place.
