The Forth from the summit.

The highest point.

 And party time...

The "KILDA"cake. This cake symbolises the 6 hills left unbagged, in the St Kilda archepelago.

Looking over the Menstrie Glen to the main group of the Ochils.

The view in the other direction to Stirling.

Rob Woodall joins the queue to get at St Kilda. Dumyat was his final hill outwith Section 25 . This was fitted in to a hectic weekend finishing several lists together.

The 9:30 start meant I had to be a spectator at the FVO orienteering event held on the hill at the same time, and it was strange to be watching pyjama clad runners crossing the hill while drinking a fine malt or two. I did manage to get a copy of the map, and its a useful thing to get hold of forexploring this fine hill.

Dave Hewitt, as usual found an evilly steep route up, which proved very enjoyable. Threading its way up through fine rock scenery and popping out of a gulley just below the summit. As well as the orienteers below, there were plenty of folk at the summit of this very popular hill. The view was clear and distant, another weather triumph for Rob.

Tea and cakes at Dave and Tessa's finished off a great morning out. Many thanks.
