The ascent route

The Summit and Sound of Harris

The summit plateau from the alternative top.

The second lowest marilyn on the British OS maps. Only Muldonaich's top is lower. This is due to the near island status of the peninsula north of Loch na Madaidh. North Uist is a mixture of land and water and in this area the sea is winning.

As expected the ascent is quick albeit rough. There is some doubt as to the summit, the trig point is the likely candidate, but a western knoll seems about the same height.
