When approaching Lochmaddy by ferry, Crogearraidh Mor or Crogarry Mor is the obvious sugarloaf behind the village. Its a quick and easy ascent from the ringroad, just beyond the quarry and the few crags on the steep upper slopes are easily avoided.

Again the views are very good, especially of the lagoons and beaches of the north coast.

The summit is all but unmarked, just a small loose pile of stones.
