Map Beinn Breac
   This is a vast lochan studded moor on the east coast of Lewis. The best approach is probably from Leumrabhagh/Lemreway, but this involves a crossing of the very rough Gleann Chinn Easain. This can be done easily at the head using a water board pipe track, or the scenic way, near the beach. Either way the miles to the summit lochan are hard going. A leisurely approach with a fishing rod is recommended, as is a clear day (not only for navigational reasons.)
