Another easy one, but beware.. all the books say that Ward Hill, with the trig is the highest hill on Mainland. Mid Hill a wee bit to the north and another boggy lumpis the highest point. Easily done from the rifle range behid Orphir. The views of Scapa Flow, especially from Ward Hill are more than fair reward for such modest effort. |
