Pressendye from the East.
The way up, looking southward towards Mount Battock, and the Month. The Summit, with Benachie beyond. ![]()
Map: Pressendye Pressendye is an isolated hill, somewhat maligned by those whose interests lie to westward. Its isolated, that means views, and you get more view for your puff here than in most other places(the ascent is very easy).
The hill is popular with the flying crowd, otherwise a quiet grouse moor. An unusual feature was approaching a Highland 2000'er by a field of barley stubble and a wood full of pheasants.
The ascent was a quickie after bagging 57N 3 W for the Degree Confluence Project.
