Ben Aigan is an isolated hill surrounded by distilleries, and forestry! Finding a way through can be a challenge as the OS maps are not too accurate here. I failed once in heavy snow trying to ski up the south ridge. This time, an approach from the north west off the Speyside way did the trick.

Fine evening with good views and a clutch of newly hatched grouse by the summit. Note the strange trig point.. something to do with Lossiemouth.
