First of a series of very windy days in the winter of 2004-5. Very hard standing up on the summit, but better lower down. Very straight forward ascent alongside the military training area. Lots of shouting from DPM clad folk near the now traditional "German House". Much more peaceful descent to Auchengaich reservoir, and no disgusting views of the Gare Loch either. Weather too foul to consider adding Chaorach, but this would be an easy addition if desired.
