This small blister of a hill north of Ben Lomond lives up to its descriptive name. Its a fair walk from any road, but the newly built path that takes the hordes north on the West Highland Way gives rapid access along the loch. The walk is also rather beautiful too.

The hill is a simple bog trot after the glories below, other than a short band of steepness and crag running round the hill.

Fortunately the once notorious Cailness track has blended in somewhat, but is still a brute to climb.
