The rocky ridge of Cnoc Reamhar.

Cnoc Reamhar from across Loch Sween.

Interesting crags seen on the approach. The crags are below the southern top.

Near the summit on rough slabs.

Jura in the background.

 The Summit Party.

Scarba from Cnoc Reamhar. The annoying mist that spoilt the views when on the island is still visible.

After the Scarba trip there was time for a massed assault on the forest guarded Cnoc Reamhar. I had tried earlier in the day but ran out of time in the deep bracken and rocky slopes.

This time an a ttack was made from the south. Again rough, old felled areas, but a narrow path helped with the deep grass and heather.

The summit was a narrow ridge with expansive views, including back to Scarba.

The day ended perfectly with a pint in Tayvallich and the MARHOFN meal at the Stables Lochgilphead.
