Meall a Chaise, a highpoint in the vast moors east of Lairg, must be little visited. This was definitely a 'first foot'. Just a few lodges are the only habitation for miles. I once walked to Altnaharra over this moor. One and half days worth, I even met another walker.

Wellies recomended should you venture here. The hill is wet, Strath Brora is wetter.

Another summer visit found the hill still wet, but easier going. The wind farmers are currently prospecting here.
