The Summit. Fionn Bheinn wipes out any view to the East.

Looking across Loch Chroisg towards Beinn Feusaige.

 Feadan Duchairidh. The usual approach.

The view down Glen Torridon. Recognise any old favourites?

Slioch, Beinn Lair, Beinn Tarsuinn Caol, A'Maighdean, Beinn Tarsuinn surrounding Lochan Fada. The picture gives some idea of the easy going on the mossy plateau.

And South-eastward towards the always impressive Sgurr a Mhuillin

A winter view: Fionn Bheinn , Meall a'Chaoruinn and Sgurr a Mhuillin from Bidein Clann Raonaild.

Another hill lost on a map boundary. Fionn Bheinn's wee brother lurks in the bottom right corner of sheet 19, under the 100km square id letters. The hill is an ideal half day and gives amazing views of just about everything torridonian, from Fuar Tholl to An Teallach.

There is easy access via a path up Feadan Duchairidh, and once on the plateau the going is very easy on a firm mossy tundra. Allow plenty of time for gawping, and do something else if misty.

NOTE: The single track road along Loch Roisg has been completed as far as the end of the loch (Mar 2005). As usual there is a shortage of laybys on the new road. (Parking places are routinely opposed by some landowners - according to council minutes I have seen)
