na Feusaige There is a group of hills which are located the 'wrong' side of the Moine Thrust. As you pass Achnasheen, it's the Stathcarron and Torridon Multicoloured Dream Hills that take everones attention. Near the village, rather plainer fare can be found for the shorter day, with the advantage of good views into Torridon. Sadly there were no views on this dreich day, so Carn Mor was left for a clearer day. A short boggy ascent and snowy plateau gave a very short 'day' and I was off the hill by lunchtime after a late start. |
