Beinn na h_Eaglaise 737m. Torridon, Section 13b
OS 1:50000 sheet 25 GR NG907524
20th March 2005

The east face from near Loch an Eion.

The stalkers path from the Loch Torridon Hotel to Coire Roil. This is also the usual way on to Beinn Damh.

The view of Beinn Alligin from the path as it emerges from the trees.

A view towards BMaol Ceann Dearg from lochans between the two tops of Beinn na h-Eaglaise.

 The summit.

The easy south ridge to Loch an Eion.

The path from Loch an Eoin to Annat passes beneath Beinn na h-Eaglasie. It gives good views of Liathach.

Above Annat, as the Loch an Eoin path traverses beneath Beinn na h-Eaglaise.

The view from the summit, from Liathach to Maol Ceann Dearg.

One of the lower and less celebratedTorridon hills. It sufferers from being only 737m and on a map edge. Its still a worthwhile objective with steep sides and much exposed sandstone. It is also very well placed for views over Torridon.

Two paths head in from Torridon, the one from the hotel, is the usual ascent route for Beinn Damh, this has the advantage of the lovely woodlands and views of Beinn Alligin. I returned via Loch an Eion, this was a longer walk out, but again the quality of the path above Glen Torridon makes for a memorable descent.
