The big Shropshire hill with the roads on top. This is like an inside out hill. All the fun is following the deep V-shaped batches and hopes up to the plateau. A good ploy is to drive up tp the summit, ample parking amongst the picnic crowds, and walk down one hole and back up another glen. They are all good, but Cardingmill should be avoided in its lower reaches. This hill is vast and there are plenty of combinations of routes for return trips. Visited on Easter Monday, travelling back to Edinburgh. Very crowded. |
